Pinnochio - Russian Style

Momma and I spent most of our time this morning at the orphanage going on a treasure hunt of sorts with D and M's Group. Their caretakers dressed up in costumes like a pinnochio story characters - not ours. One did have a long cardboard nose, but a character with a hugely long beard I didn't recognize. Fortunately I remembered before the end to get out the camera and take some pictures of this for the children. At lunch I found the book and bought one for them - very different from our story. It was really neat the way they did a treasure hunt going as a group and reading clues until they ended up in their head doctor's office where they searched and found a large box of candy for them all to share. Great fun - and I knew this was a good orphanage.

Miss M is quite the bubble blower. D and the driver, Momma, and Grandma were kicking a soccer ball everywhere all around her and we had a steady stream of many and large bubbles. What a change that was from July when she couldn't even get anything to come out. What fun it will be to see more ways that she is learning and growing as she gets home. She definitely does her own thing!

We just had practice for court, and will get to go see D and M again this afternoon in a short while. Court for me is at 10 AM, so please remember me and the children in your prayers tonight.
