Maria is something else

Maria's developing quite the personality in the last few weeks. She's becoming an individual and stepping a lot out of Daniel's shadow. She's been fixing Momma's hair, playing some really cool pretend games with baskets becoming boats - which get sent straight to time out if they throw her. But this afternoon I realized that she is the typical little American girl now. She was totally uninterested in her nap this afternoon and started doing a little of the chanting that she often does to go to sleep. Usually it is a lot more sylables than words - either Russian or English. On this day it was unmistakable- "Swiper no swiping". Yes, she is a little American girl - all interested in Dora like a lot of little girls!
